Year 12 Speed Networking creates a buzz about the school

On Wednesday, we welcomed around 20 guests to the school for our Year 12 Speed Networking Event, a key part of our Employer Engagement Induction programme. Each guest spent about five minutes speaking to our 120 Year 12 students in groups of 6 and it was great to see so many students engaged, asking questions and learning.

This was a fantastic opportunity for the Year 12 students to hear from others about their career story; the options for university, apprenticeships and employment; and also to hear from some of our very own Logic Alumni that have been successful since leaving the school.

Our Employer Induction Programme allows students to undertake a specific pathway linked to their future career, with options in Business, Accountrancy, Computing, Games Design, the EPQ and Travel and Tourism. Currently students are undertaking a 6 week programme that includes learning from others, writing applications and mock interviews, before a formal interview in October.
